As early as 1911 what became known as Brookmere on the Kettle Valley Railway was called Otter Summit. The Central Okanagan Railway Company was formed on July 4, 1996, and has grown from the first meeting of three interested Model Railroaders. Ray Barber, a retired Peachland resident, donated two boxes of “old train cars and tracks” and from this humble beginning, much has been done to construct an interesting display for visitors to the Peachland Museum to enjoy.
